How it started

Starting an automotive messaging revolution

Since the beginning of time (well, nearly) there has been one constant:‌ Every customer relationship starts with a conversation.

But as dealerships and service centres transitioned to doing business online, processes, webforms and funnels made it harder for customers to connect with dealerships. Our founders saw how sales and aftersales teams struggled to be productive and efficient while still empowering experiences customers love.

In 2009, they built Web1on1 to solve this challenge.

Starting with a done-for-you live chat solution, they set out on a mission to bring conversational experiences back into the car buying and servicing experience.

In 2022, Web1on1 joined the CitNOW Group – the global market-leading provider of software for the automotive industry – to continue our mission.

Expanding beyond live chat with the development and launch of our automotive conversation platform, we’re committed to empowering both sales and aftersales teams to achieve their business goals through multichannel conversations and streamline the entire customer journey. From initial car enquiry through to purchase and maintenance.
